This route kicks off by heading south from Menefee County Park on Turner Creek Rd. Then head west on Old Railroad Grade Rd along the North Yamhill River towards Camp Yamhill. After crossing the site of a historic train trestle over Cedar Creek, take a spur of the abandoned Carlton & Coast Railroad line north along Fairchild Creek to the Flora Mainline. There is a very steep 1 mile section, but just keep going, the payoff is waiting at the top. From there, connect up to the east bank of the Barney Reservoir via North Fork Trask Rd. Then head east on Roaring Creek Rd for 6 miles to a connector road back down to Turner Creek Road, which will take you back to Menefee County Park.
