Starting at an access road where Walker Creek meets Nestucca Access Rd, this ride heads off down the west side of the McGuire Reservoir. The access road will turn east at the southern end of the reservoir, leading to a connection that leads south on a logging road towards Wanless Rd. Just before the triangle connection with Baker Creek, there is an opportunity for short single track section that will loop back to Wanless Rd. Continuing West on Wanless there are a couple of punchy climbs that may have you wishing for one extra cog on your cassette. The climb is 100% worth it, as it pays in a rich series of fast descents all the way to Peavine Rd. Head west on Peavine to connect back north onto Gopher Tie Rd. The first few accents on Gopher Tie are steep, but the grade settles into a smooth cadence that connects to Old Bald Mountain Rd. Head East on Old Bald Mountain Rd to connect back to the Walker Creek Access road. High five your friends!
